Youth-run bootcamp 17x16cdp launched in Waterloo after the closure of South Suburbs PCYC, attracting up to 100 trainers nightly including NRL players Josh Addo-Carr and Izack Tago. Founded by David Castriani and friends, the free Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions provide community members from Redfern and Waterloo with fitness and positive mentorship alternatives to street violence.
