Lengthy rain pattern bringing widespread rain to the southeast
A slow-moving low-pressure system brought widespread rain across Australia's southeast from Brisbane to Hobart starting Tuesday. Rainfall of 20mm to 100mm is expected in southeastern Queensland, eastern New South Wales and eastern Tasmania, with isolated falls exceeding 100mm.
