Google worker charged with using internal data to make $1.2m on bets
A Google engineer has been charged with insider trading after allegedly using confidential company information to win $1.2 million on the prediction platform Polymarket. Michele Spagnuolo, arrested Wednesday in New York, placed bets between October and December using early access to Google search data. He traded under the account AlphaRaccoon, correctly predicting top Google searches before public release.
