Australia launches $10 billion fuel security package, creates first public stockpile
Australia's government announced a $10 billion fuel security package on Wednesday, creating its first publicly owned fuel stockpile since World War II. The 1 billion-litre reserve of diesel and jet fuel will cost $3.2 billion and boost reserves to 50 days of average.
