Man charged with murdering five-year-old child in outback remanded in custody
Jefferson Lewis, 47, appeared via video link in Alice Springs Local Court on Tuesday over the alleged murder of five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby near the outback town. His appearance was excused, no bail application was made, and the case was adjourned to July 30. Lewis remains in custody in Darwin after being arrested following the child's death.
