Tigers chair O’Farrell backs V’landys for all-powerful rugby league job
Wests Tigers chairman Barry O'Farrell endorsed Peter V'landys as rugby league's executive chairman on Tuesday, backing the move by the influential administrator who currently leads Racing NSW and the ARL Commission. V'landys will take four-month leave from racing starting July to cover for departing NRL CEO Andrew.
