Amar'e Stoudemire was selected for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and will be inducted August 15 in Springfield, Massachusetts. The former NBA star said he was surprised when notified, recalling: "I was like, 'What?!' I was ecstatic about it." Stoudemire averaged 18.9 points over 14 seasons, earning six All-Star selections and 2003 Rookie of the Year honors.
