Ilia Ebrahim Nejad gained entry to North Sydney Boys in year 11 after initially failing the selective school entry test. He excelled academically and secured a spot in medicine at the University of NSW. Thousands of year 6 pupils are currently preparing for the selective entry test, with about 17,000 students vying for 4,300 spots.
