Copi Mineral Sands Project near Victoria-NSW border gets green light
NSW provisionally approved RZ Resources' $693 million Copi Mineral Sands Project on Wednesday, located 180 kilometres south-west of Broken Hill near the Victoria border. The mine will process 27 million tonnes of rare earth materials over 18 years, creating 240 permanent jobs. Commonwealth approval and private financing remain required before production begins in 2029.
