Millions of Australian households to save hundreds on power bills from July
The Australian Energy Regulator lowered electricity prices for millions of households in New South Wales, southeast Queensland, and South Australia from July. Savings will range from $25 to $229 annually depending on location and meter type. Energy Minister Chris Bowen attributed the reductions to increased renewable energy generation and battery installations, which now comprise 50 percent of the national.
