South Australia, Victoria smashed by low pressure system that brought flooding, damaging
Intense storms that lashed the western coast of Australia are set to bring destructive winds and heavy rain to southern parts of the country as they move east. The extreme weather, typically seen only once every five years, brought wind gusts of up to 135km/h to Perth and communities along Western Australia’s coast.
