Woman accused of stealing parrot by hiding it beneath clothing
A 29-year-old woman will face court after allegedly stealing a turquoise green-cheeked conure from an Adelaide pet shop on Saturday by hiding it under her top. Police say she entered the Melrose Park store around 3pm and removed the bird from its cage. The parrot, identifiable by a distinctive red patch above its beak, remains missing.
