Body found in search for missing Aboriginal girl in Alice Springs
Police found the body of missing five-year-old Sharon Granites on Thursday, 5km south of where she was last seen in Alice Springs. Northern Territory police commissioner Martin Dole said the discovery was made just before midday and the family has been notified. A postmortem examination will determine the cause of death, with a criminal investigation ongoing.
