Fourteen-month-old Dusty Wildman from Australia's Gold Coast is breathing independently after inhaling toxic cake decoration powder on May 1. The toddler, who spent nearly two weeks in Queensland Children's Hospital including time in a coma, was taken off all breathing assistance Wednesday. Doctors removed dangerous lung sludge caused by copper and zinc compounds in the inedible powder during emergency surgery.
