Qantas’ Project Sunrise plane to be delayed until 2027
Qantas' first Project Sunrise aircraft will arrive in April 2027, delayed from late 2026 due to Airbus supply chain issues. The A350-1000 ULR is designed for 22-hour nonstop flights from Australia to New York and London. Qantas expects five planes by November 2027 and has ordered twelve total for its ultra long-haul strategy.
