‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Star Nicholas Brendon’s Cause of Death Revealed
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actor Nicholas Brendon died of atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, according to Putnam County coroner's records obtained by People magazine. The 54-year-old had 90 percent blockage in his right coronary artery, with pneumonia and previous heart attack listed as contributing factors. Brendon played Xander Harris on the hit series and also appeared on "Criminal Minds.".
