Child protection workers stood down after alleged murder of Australian child
Three child protection workers in Australia's Northern Territory have been stood down following the alleged murder of a five-year-old girl found dead on April 30. Minister Robyn Cahill ordered an investigation after learning six welfare reports had been filed about the child before her death. Police arrested Jefferson Lewis, 47, and charged him with murder.
