Mother Deliberately Poisoned Son With Oxycodone-Spiked Smoothie, Prosecutors Tell Jury
Prosecutors told a jury Tuesday that Maree Crabtree, 59, deliberately poisoned her son Jonathan with an oxycodone-spiked smoothie at their Gold Coast home in July 2017, causing him to choke on his own vomit. Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Caroline Marco said Crabtree knew he was dead before calling emergency services.
