The winners and losers from the Victorian budget

Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes delivered her second budget on Tuesday, promising cost-of-living relief and a return to operating surplus. Public transport fares will be half-price for most of 2024 under a $432 million investment, while motorists receive 20 percent vehicle registration discounts. The budget also allocates $109 million for pediatric specialist appointments and $27 million for colonoscopy access.
