Breaking: Almost 900 workers evacuated after chemical spill at meat processing plant
Nearly 900 workers were evacuated from an Ipswich meat processing plant after a liquid ammonia spill early Wednesday, west of Brisbane. Five people were hospitalized in stable condition and 17 assessed by paramedics after the incident at 12:30am. Fire crews contained the leak and remain on scene.
