Miner to sue council for $22m in years-long dispute over access road
Bravus won court approval on Tuesday to pursue a $22 million counterclaim against Isaac Regional Council over a disputed mine access road in Central Queensland. Justice Sean Cooper allowed the lawsuit after the council changed road standards mid-project, forcing the miner to halt construction work. The trial is unlikely to conclude before late 2027.
