Psychiatrist jailed for abusing young eating disorder patients again faces justice
Former Sydney psychiatrist Ong Ming Tan received a two-year intensive correction order Monday for indecent assaults against an eating disorder patient between 2009 and 2010. The 52-year-old previously served prison time for sexually assaulting four patients. His latest victim disclosed the abuse in 2021 after more than a decade, describing lasting trauma affecting her emotionally, physically and financially.
