Gold Coast room fire critically injures woman with infant hospitalised
A woman has suffered significant burns and an infant has been treated for smoke inhalation after a room fire at on a popular Gold Coast strip. Emergency crews were called to a property on Brisbane Rd at Biggera Waters about 1.45am, where they found a woman in her 30s with “serious burns to her hands, abdomen and thighs”.
