Tougher penalties to protect NSW’s heritage jewels

New South Wales will update its 50-year-old heritage act with stricter penalties for owners who neglect heritage properties, announced Heritage Minister Penny Sharpe on Tuesday. Sharpe emphasized the need to better protect and understand cultural heritage.
