Farm worker sentenced after fatally cutting man’s leg off with circular saw
Farm worker John Yalu was sentenced Monday to nine years in prison for manslaughtering Queensland grandfather Kalman Tal by amputating his leg with a circular saw in February 2022. The 41-year-old Vanuatu national will be eligible for parole in August after serving four years since arrest.
