Jia Zhangke Cannes Short ‘Torino Shadow’ Boarded by MK2 (EXCLUSIVE)
French distributor MK2 Films has acquired worldwide rights to "Torino Shadow," a 32-minute short by acclaimed Chinese filmmaker Jia Zhangke screening in Cannes Classics. The film stars Zhao Tao and moves between China and Turin, emerging from the Museo Nazionale del Cinema's Torino Encounters commissioning initiative. MK2 now handles eight titles from Jia's catalogue.
