Convicted gang rapist escapes custody while at Sydney hospital

Michael Angok, a convicted gang rapist, escaped from custody at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney on Wednesday. The 30-year-old was being transported from Villawood Immigration Detention Centre when he fled on foot. NSW Police are conducting a search and urge the public to report any sightings without approaching.
