NSW Health urges 5000 patients to test for blood-borne viruses
Up to 5000 patients of Sydney dentist Dr William Tam may have been exposed to blood-borne viruses over 25 years due to poor infection control practices. NSW Health urges all former patients to seek testing for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV. Tam retired and is no longer registered following a health inspection.
