Neale Daniher: AFL great and motor neurone disease campaigner dies aged 65
Former AFL player and coach Neale Daniher died Monday aged 65, more than a decade after his motor neurone disease diagnosis in 2013. Daniher coached Melbourne from 1998 to 2007 and played for Essendon. He co-founded FightMND charity and was named Australian of the Year in 2024 for his MND advocacy.
