Eight to be awarded for bravery in Bondi Junction stabbing

Eight Australians who intervened during the Bondi Junction stabbing will receive bravery awards, two years after the attack left six dead and ten injured. Among those honored are a police officer and two security guards who attempted to disarm the attacker, Joel Cauchi. A mother who shielded her baby and died will also receive a posthumous award.
