Man killed while refueling ute on Perth Mitchell Freeway; driver charged
A 22-year-old man was struck and killed while refueling his ute on Perth's Mitchell Freeway in Padbury on Sunday evening. Michael Kane, 30, appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court charged with failing to stop and assist after allegedly hitting the victim around 7:20pm. The freeway section closed for over 13 hours as investigators examined the incident.
