‘Writing on the wall’: $1.5b Trump Tower deal for Gold Coast scrapped
A planned $1.5 billion Trump Tower for Australia's Gold Coast has been scrapped less than three months after the deal was signed in February. Altus Property Group chief David Young said the Trump brand had become "toxic" to Australians, while the Trump Organisation cited the developer's failure to meet contractual obligations. The 91-storey project would have been Australia's tallest building.
