Police recovered the body of a seven-year-old girl who drowned while swimming in the Brisbane River on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services responded to Colleges Crossing Recreation Reserve in Chuwar shortly after 5pm after she failed to resurface. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
