Australia insists support for UAE does not involve action against Iran
Australia's government insists its defence commitment to the United Arab Emirates does not involve offensive action against Iran, following reports the UAE conducted military strikes on Iranian targets. Australia deployed a Wedgetail early warning aircraft and 85 personnel to the UAE in March for defensive airspace support.
