Sydney introduces new flight path for cargo planes at Western Sydney Airport
A new flight path change over Sydney will begin on July 9, allowing cargo planes to land at the new $6 billion Western Sydney Airport. The airport aims to handle 293,000 tonnes of cargo by 2030, breaking Sydney Airport's long-held freight monopoly. Air New Zealand will start passenger flights to the new hub on October 26.
