Police did no risk assessment of Jewish festival before terror attack
NSW Police conducted no risk assessment of a Chanukah festival at Bondi Beach before a December attack that killed 15 people, a royal commission heard Monday. A Jewish security group had warned an attack was "likely" and requested static police presence, but officers deployed only mobile patrols. Four police were on scene when gunfire erupted.
