Netflix claims its content generated $325 billion for global economy
Netflix launched an interactive site Tuesday claiming its films and series have contributed over $325 billion to the global economy over the past decade. The company says its productions created more than 425,000 jobs across more than 4,500 cities worldwide. Netflix projects $20 billion in content spending for 2026, up 10 percent year-over-year.
