Indigenous woman's life 'cut short' by death in custody, inquest hears
An Indigenous woman's life was "cut short" by her death in custody at Silverwater Women's Correctional Centre in November 2022, a coronial inquest heard. Patience Kuzmins, 23, died of methylamphetamine toxicity after packages of the drug were found in her body.
