Mathis Albert made his Borussia Dortmund debut on Sunday, playing in the 88th minute of a 4-0 victory over Freiburg. At 16 years, 11 months, and 5 days old, he became the youngest American to appear in the Bundesliga, breaking a record set by Giovanni Reyna in 2020.
