Trump administration suspends $15,000 bond for African World Cup fans
The Trump administration suspended a $15,000 bond requirement for fans from five African World Cup countries entering the US. Citizens of Algeria, Cabo Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Tunisia with valid tournament tickets are now exempt from the visa bond imposed on countries with high overstay rates. The waiver applies to fans enrolled in FIFA's expedited visa appointment system.
