School traffic warden hit by delivery truck in regional WA
A man in his 80s suffered serious injuries after being struck by a Woolworths delivery truck at a school crossing in Australind, Western Australia, just after 7:30am today. The volunteer traffic warden was hit at the corner of Paris Road and Barnes Avenue near a childcare centre. Police say alcohol and speed were not factors, with multiple witnesses present.
