There’s a lot of poo in this show. Audiences can’t get enough

Austrian theatre-maker Florentina Holzinger's "A Year Without Summer" features a deliberately shocking finale involving actors in adult nappies and simulated feces covering the stage. Holzinger says the graphic scene reflects the reality of caring for dying people and addresses bodily vulnerability. The provocative production, inspired by Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," explores themes of ageing, mortality and societal control of bodies.
