Oswestry Cricket Club recruits 10 mother-daughter pairs, wins back-to-back championships
Oswestry Cricket Club's Women and Girls section has recruited 10 mother-daughter pairs ranging from age 12 to 67 since launching in 2018. Team manager Jools Payne said the group embraces the Wags moniker and may pursue a Guinness World Record. The club now has 33 players and won the Shropshire recreational hardball league championship in 2024 and 2025.
