The fantastic Ms Fox rises to the occasion
Hannah Fox, artistic director of Rising festival, programmed Austrian performance artist Florentina Holzinger, who became a Venice Biennale sensation performing upside down inside a giant bell. Fox, formerly with Melbourne Festival and Dark Mofo, champions innovative work across genres. She described Holzinger's feminist body-horror spectacles as setting new precedents for theatre audiences and representation.
