Palaszczuk cancels book tour after partner charged with rape and assault
Former Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has cancelled multiple book tour appearances after her partner Reza Adib was charged with rape and deprivation of liberty. The 65-year-old Brisbane surgeon was charged following a raid on his Gold Coast apartment. Adib faces three rape counts, two deprivation of liberty counts and one sexual assault count.
