Jack Douglas, legendary rock producer behind Lennon and Aerosmith, dies at 80
Jack Douglas, the legendary rock producer behind John Lennon's "Double Fantasy," Aerosmith's "Rocks" and Cheap Trick's debut album, died Monday at 80. The Bronx native helped shape 1970s rock through his work with Patti Smith, Alice Cooper and numerous other acts. No cause of death was provided by his family.
