Never-before-seen security video shows brazen thefts from Royal Perth Hospital emergency department
Thieves have stolen personal belongings, patient records and even an e-scooter from Royal Perth Hospital's emergency department in at least 36 documented incidents. Security footage shows criminals targeting sleeping patients and distracted visitors for bags and phones. WA Health Minister Meredith Hammat called the thefts "completely unacceptable," citing privacy concerns over stolen patient notes.
