Four Corners reporter sacked over external podcast
The ABC terminated Four Corners reporter Mahmood Fazal's contract after an investigation found him in breach of editorial policies over an unauthorised podcast with underworld figure Ryan Naumenko last September. Fazal, who joined the broadcaster in 2021, had taken seven months' leave before dismissal.
