Alisha Weir leads coming-of-age comedy about teens fleeing foster care
Alisha Weir, star of "Matilda the Musical," will lead the coming-of-age comedy "Underdogs," directed by Fabia Martin in her feature debut. The film follows two teenage girls who flee foster care and compete at Crufts dog show while traveling through England's West Country. Shooting begins next year with production by BAFTA-nominated Candid Broads Productions.
