Globo Filmes backs Glauber Rocha biography starring Oscar nominee Fernanda Torres
Globo Filmes is backing "Spring of the Dragon," a biographical film about Novo Cinema director Glauber Rocha, to shoot in Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Cannes. The project adapts Nelson Motta's 2012 book and marks the latest from Fernanda Torres, an Oscar nominee for "I'm Still Here," whose real estate comedy "The Brokers" has finished production.
